First time that I ever heard of dyslalia, and the first time I ever saw it in print or text.

In fact the word checker on this website doesnt know about it either because it marked it as misspelled when I wrote it.

Its too new a word for the word checker!

According to Merriam Webster its a speech impediment due to your nervous system being enable to control your physical speech organs like your tongue. Something wrong with the wiring of your larynx or tongue.

No. Don't have it.

That's Apraxia (or Dyspraxia) of speech....what you described, Natural.

It's a "disorder of motor planning."

I was often called out of class when I was a kid for speech therapy. It was embarrassing for me to no end. I had a lisp. They tried to get me to talk correctly, but years later I realized it wasn't mental, but physical. The lisp disappeared once my teeth were aligned properly.

Perhaps something is mis-aligned with you too.

BrightonPete means physically misaligned (like needing braces)----not "misaligned" otherwise.

You did specify----but somebody who is upset might not see it right away.
