Last term I had this subject in uni called Business Acadamic Skills, it was all on the internet, I had to do grammer and read pages of documents every week. I had to then use the info from the documents to answer a quiz, but the info was only used once and then I was expected to forget it. I also had to do Assignment of putting in a sum up of research, often related to nothing at all, and was expected to go through stuff to even find out if had to do one. I basicaly could not do the reading, there was so much unrelated info that I could not just forget and it was driving me crazy, so I ignored them. I forced myself to do the grammer despite the fact I had a lot of difficulty and I had no idea about the assignments but when I tried it was like I had to go through different sorces to find info. I don't know how to go through different sorces, but they acted like I am a expert at it. This whole thing was like looking into things I felt like was useless information and I could not keep doing. I have found out that I have failed the subject, now they will not let me take a subject next term about managment which I recieved a credit in a management course this term. They want me to repeat but I feel like my aspieness weakens me in this subject and also most of the course failed this stupid subject aswell. I feel like I realy do not need to know this as it teaches you nothing about business, but when I tried to complain I got told that I will not survive in uni without this savyness, though if it was on something relivent I would do better. I am wondering if I should just have a small discusion with them and ask them to just let me go (unlikely) or should I say that my AS gives me a big dissadvantage in this subject. For crying out loud I already learnt english in Highschool, should I tell them the reason I am doing badly as this subject is driving me crazy as well boreing me beyond belief.

Stupid course work subject.

Talk to them. Make a list of the tasks that were too hard, explain why they were too hard, and have them explain why you need to be able to do x and y in order to be able to work or study in that field.

Too much multitasking? Task too far out of context? Not enough information for task to make sense in the first place?

I've had a course like that - I ended up dropping out of the program, though mostly for other reasons. Sometimes you just need double the time of the next person to do the same work because it's so unfocussed or off-focus that you need the extra time to shift focus, get into it (especially when there really isn't an "it" to get into). And sometimes they don't tell you what it's for or why you have to do it, so it makes it that much harder to understand what they want you to do in the first place. And sometimes it's just stupid and not well thought out.

Agreed, with what Anemone said. Talk to your dean or guidance counselor, tell them about the difficulties you're having with this course and see if they can find something else along similar lines you might fare better at.
