Sometimes when I'm with my friends I feel the urge to go on a walk or withdraw myself from the group.

I often feel uninterested in their humor as well and at times "force" myself to laugh. (Not saying I don't laugh or am humor-less :P)

I enjoy being with them but the moment I don't feel like I click I get frustrated and withdraw and usually block them out sometimes until I hear my name.

Is this "normal"?

There are different types of healthy for different kinds of people. If that's your personality type, then you should try to explore it and find out for yourself why you are having those experiences.

Yeah I understand, I have found at times when I am with people the same age as me I get bored of what they are are saying and just kind of ignore everything unless I get a messae to pay attention. I have often found it a bit more interesting to be around people other then my peers, I also often prefer witty jokes but often jokes I hear from peers are repetitive and terrible.

I get the same thing. Have ever since I was a kid. And no, the others around me don't see it as "normal", but those who know me well have just come to accept that that's the way I am.
