Does anybody else feel (little or) no shame in situations that are commonly considered shameful? (Although you know that a situation is supposedly shameful for various reasons.)

Such as being caught half-naked, on the toilette or running into a brick wall on the streets among others things?

No I happen to feel hyper shame, and in the case of being caught naked etc. you might want to run I will throw anything I can get my hands on.

am have been told am have no shame, but to hear that means nothing, the way people have tried to help am understand a little is to say what is 'bad',but it still means nothing.
am understand a few of the things that are supposed to be ba-the most regular one being opening toilet room doors whilst people are sat on toilet,it doesnt bother am when on toilet so dont understand the problem,am like messing with them.

another one am told is bad is going outside with boxer shorts and sports bra or vest/t shirt on,it does not bother am but am always marched back in.
An ex staff am do not like once tried pulling boxer shorts down whilst am was in the car park at home, and she was stood there talking about it with the other staff from downstairs, waste of effort as she did it to the wrong person,am walked around with them down trying to look for GFB under the cars and hedges, until one of the staff pulled them up and marched am in.

Yeah I feel shame quite a lot, I think it has made me have a lot of anxous problems and realy feels bad, so in ways I have tried to ignore a lot of it kind of ignorance at times can be bliss.

I'm the exact opposite. I feel shameful for nearly everything. Today I accidentally opened my textbook to the wrong page while someone was sharing it with me, and I felt really stupid. Simple mistakes, which no one really ever thinks about again, tend to make me feel like everyone thinks I'm stupid.

I'm the same way Ryn. Every day for me is a constant stream of trying to not make any mistakes, not even minor ones. If I get put into a situation where I simply don't know what to do, or if I get confused, I start to get scared and panic, and then I often get angry and frustrated. It happened twice today on the way to lunch in fact; once I hit some road construction where the 2-lane road was down to a single lane using flagmen, and the other was at a busted traffic light at a very busy intersection and I simply could not figure out what the hell pattern everyone was following.

I often wonder what the 24/7 stress i doing to my poor nervous system. I'm not sure I really want to know, though.

I have never internalized nudity taboos as anything other than "You'll get in trouble for this," and am still often more careless than i ought tobe and easily forget things.

I'm shameless about a number of things, but I'm also ridiculously ashamed of things that aren't important. I guess it's misplaced shame, according to NT world.

I don't have any problems with walking in my birthday suit at home in the morning, I find it silly because after all everybody is naked under his clothes, it's nothing extraordinary.

Probably my only reaction would be a swear word mumbled and I wouldn't care any more.

I couldn't have said it better.

I don't feel any shame for being seen half naked or for falling on my face in front of people, but I feel shame when I misunderstand instructions or when I've predicted completely wrong consequences/results.
