Is that the one on ABC? If so... :(...never catch that channel. I assume there'll be a way to download it.

When? Tomorrow? It'll be interesting to see how this sort of publicity affects WrongPlanet.

So are they going to mention us, or mention us and show off the site to the world?

This site doesn't deserve any bad publicity.

Just because someone like him registered here, does not mean we had any control over his actions.

The site was just caught up in something dreadful.

honestly...i fear that this will not turn out well. I don't see how having WP connected in the public mind to a multiple murder/ suicide will be any good for WP or the larger AS community. If the media gets off and running with this, they will twist it into whatever they feel will capture the attention of their target demographic..and that often has everything to do with spin, and nothing to do with the truth. Add that to the fact that good morning america is a segment show that does not go into any real depth on any issue, and I fear that the message that will be piped into america's breakfast time tommorow will boil down to AS=murderous psychopath in the mind of many viewers. I know that publicity and attention feel good alex...but i would watch your step on this one, these people have no interest in our cause or our wellbeing as a community...they will use WP as they see fit.

Would it be possible for someone to put this segment online after it airs?

Is there any chance that this Good Morning America Segment can turned onto an .avi or .mpeg file and available for download? The HD in our DVR is bad and I'll be out tomorrow.

I'm sure that other people may want to see it as well, or to be more specific, those of us who will be busy, as well as people overseas who's broadcasts are in PAL format.

Alex,
If you read this in time and if you have any say in what they tell the public about WP, please point out that a large percentage of the members are pacifists, the vast majority of us keep to ourselves alot and just want to mind our own buisness, and there aren't too many members that own guns, but all uf us that do except for Will Freund use them in a legal and responsible manner.

i second what stlf said.

maybe a generous and able someone could come up with some sort of transcript for posting here - especially for those of us not in the states (especially those of me who don't have a telly).

I have programmed my MythTV box to capture the whole 2 hours in high-quality. I can eventually edit it and convert it into an mpeg file, but not right away - I'm working shifts and my desktop computer is misbehaving. Of course, then there's the issue of bandwidth (who will host it?) and copyright.

I don't know what to say about the bandwidth, but couldn't you invoke the fair usage clause of the copyright laws? If not, maybe you could find a free server in Russia, Romania, or some other country with few or no copyright laws to host it temporarily?
