What would be an appropriate term for people who hate/are afraid of people with autism or other mental conditions? "Neurophobe", maybe? Just curious...

disablist is one term used already, though not by those who say their condition is not disabling.

"Bigot" works. Why does everything need to be ultra-specific?

This is where it starts.
People are defined by those who 'are not', defined and placed in a box of reference. Those in the box don't see themselves like that, and retaliate in kind, calling those that call them 'x' "y".
the only thing it truly defines is one side wants a division between them.

do we really want to divide our selves away from other humans?

Merle

Yes, during the ranting stage. It's helpful, while you're figuring stuff out,
to overgeneralize for a little while.

Terminology? That depends.
Well, if they don't know anything about Aspergers and just give you a hard time because you're strange, I think the term would be "Pigs."
If they know that you have the lable and nothing about you, but give you a hard time,
I think the term would be "Pigs."
If they've known you for a while and later learn that you have the lable, and still don't let up,
I think the term would be "Pigs."
Should I continue?

Putting the blame where it belongs is helpful. And ranting in a safe place is helpful when you're figuring out who and why to blame. Don't try this at home, kids.

I should have read the question better. Now I want to add that "Fear of a mental condition" when you know nothing about it is dumb.
