I am the only person I know that enjoys stacking dice to create random towers or sometimes famous structures like the Spinx, I even used to stack cardboard bricks to build things as a kid. I also like building card houses, can this be attributed to the autism spectrum? Do you all like stacking stuff?

I like to line things up in rows, which is sorta like horizontal stacking. - ?

I don't ever recall stacking, but my son used to do it all the time. I had a bunch of other stims, and still have a few.. but stacking is not one of them.

I like to build little Stonehenges out of the leftovers on my plate, but I don't really think to stack things. I believe it's because I have a clumsy streak. I don't like knocking things down.
I do line things up in rows though, or make other fun geometric designs. I've done that for as long as I can remember.

When I was a kid, I used to like stacking bean cans together - I don't do stacking anymore.

Lab Pet is the ULTIMATE STACKER!! !

I have colored blocks at my apt. but I have no limits! If it's stackable, Lab Pet stacks.

I LOVE to stack! I also get excited about things like Chex Mix. Mind you, I don't especially like Chex Mix for a snack. But it's the best for sorting the alike pieces into piles.

If you can count my superior ability to keep a house of cards standing through the 6th level (I ran out of cards at that time) then I guess so. Nobody else in my famly was able to get past the 2nd level!

I hope this image works- its my first time trying
I can't see the picture myself, so tell me if you can't either

I couldn't see the picture, lets see if I can get one to work...

That was one I made and then ran out of cards, and normally when I build a card house I like I live around it for as long as it will stay up till something(or someone) knocks it down, that one stood for a couple days, lol

As far as horizontal stacking, the only things that I can recall lining up were books on shelves, I like to do that, makes me feel organized to line books up by various categories

I hate chex mix it doesn't taste that great to me but them and M&M's are good for organizing as well as Coins too!

Not quite the classic house of cards ... Your link isn't the best, I prefer photobucket, cleaner. I just quoted your original post and edited it so you can copy the parts you need into the original if you desire.

In the UK, stack can also mean to crash. "My dad stacked the car"

It's more of a pagoda looking house... but its the way I was shown by my cousnins. The other way just wasn't able to stand up on the table.

I can totally socially appropriately build towers out of bricks, lego or wood together with kids every single day.

My job is good.

I love this!

I liked to stack wooden shapes and also things like toy cars, shoes, and BOOKS.

Lining up even more so. I would often do both vertical and horizontal stacking with legos, and then nobody was allowed to disturb it. My parents came up with a compromise to let me keep it up for awhile (say a week), then take a picture of it, and then I would be satisfied to take it down and do other things with it.

Anyone remember Linking Logs?

That does sound like a good job, I used to like legos quite a bit too, would be great to be paid to mess around with them lol

I remember when I was a teaching assistant for a chemistry teacher I sat at her desk and built card houses when I didn't have papers or anything to do, and a lot of people in class would watch me building a card house rather then pay attention to the teacher, I had to stop eventually
