Being a teetotaller (attn: spelling) isn't necessarily immature.

Being a teetotaler is being smarter than the crowd.

From a health and legal standpoint, sure it is. The human body does not *require* alcohol. Starying away from alcohol will ensure that you are never involved in a DUI or any other alcohol-related offenses. You'll never suffer the effects of alcoholism, you'll never get cirrhosis of the liver ...

But responsible drinking, that's what I do. Like anything else, there's nothing wrong with alcohol in moderation.

i agree, and sometimes i am left out not only because of AS, but also because of this strange habit of refusing alcohol...
but this thread is supposed to be about something else.

Do you not like the taste of alcohol? Does it make you sick? Or do you refuse it for other reasons?

sometimes when people ask me that in RL, i scare them saying that it's religious. but since i am atheist, it's just about the taste, cannot stand it. plus i saw the problems that a drinking father can cause to those he is supposed to love and protect.

There are certain KINDS of alcohol I avoid, but only because I hate the taste. I hate the taste of wine and champagne. I don't like dark ales. And that stuff called Kaluha ( I don't know how to spell it) that has coffee stuff in it--- YUCK!! !! !
I like fruity mixed drinks ( no raspberry, though) and smoothe ( not too bitter) beers.
As far as immature interests, I don't know. I have interests in things other people don't seem to enjoy unless they are very old or very young--- bird watching, musclecars ( mainly Oldsmobiles), drawing... collecting Hotwheels and Matchbox cars ( mainly Oldsmobiles, but also some others). Collecting funky wigs, bold striped socks/stockings and stuff like that.

In a way, too many to tell.

In another (somewhat more logical) way, none.

That is an admirable consideration. Some people are just better off without the drink.

Watching cartoons(Anime included) is supposedly a kid thing, according to many "adults", that I still do and will as long as there are good ones.

Playing video games is also considered a kid thing by many ignorant "adults" that I still do and will until I die.

Reading fantasy is another thing some people consider childish that I do and will continue to do so.

Watching cartoons (Ed, Edd n Eddie and X-men Evolution are my favourite ones)
Harry Potter novels and fanfiction
Everything about the X-men
Reading the Horrible Science series (but on the other hand even if it's theoretically for children and younger teens, there are sooo many facts nobody is taught at school :D so I only increase my knowledge)
:D

Kid shows and teen shows
Happy Meal toys
Coloring
Kid movies
Kid books or teens

I don't think reading Harry Potter is immature because the books were written for all ages.
