Why and whereto has my topic of sexual awakening been removed?

Don't worry, dude.
They did a bunch of thread-shifting tonight and a lot got moved (including if I may say, some of my own).

Mind - they weren't quite as 'inappropriate' for a 'family' subforum as the title of yours might imply.

Peace and sh*t like that, dude. :duh:

so who is to judge what is important or not? Traumas in our sexuality isn't a subject deemed to be discussed, how patronising!

Not "not discussed"; just "not discussed in front of the 11 year old who might be reading this forum".

That's my experience with sexual topics anyway. People don't like young teens exposed to things like that.

OK I got it, again wrong end of the stick, haven't read the lines carefully. I had no idea 11 year olds owuld come on the general autism board, I thought they'd stick to Kid's crater...so has my topic been moved to Haven?? Or simply been deleted?

More than likely gone to the 'Adult' forum.

Or possibly the 'Sexual awakening' subforum. ;)

While we're on the subject, I think it pretty bad form for the moving mod not to mark it as 'Moved' - if for no other reason than that people think it's been deleted and waste unnecessary bandwidth posting a query thread about it.
Or maybe they're just trying to get the hit-count up ?
What say ?

I don't know. Maybe someone complained? Remember this is an AS/ASD/ADHD forum. Discussing this topic isn't really that relevent here, is it? I am sure it's nothing personal, just the mods determining what might be offensive and "trollike" threads?

WHAT THE HECK!?!?!? Are you REALLY so !@#$%^&*()_!?

1. US law sets the minimum age of reading stuff, such as you have posted, at 18!! !! !!
2. Though Alex has to be careful with allowing posters prior to 13yo, the minimum age is WHAT? Maybe 2!?!?!? The lower limit is based solely on access and ability, and not arbitrary laws, etc.

BTW This is a GENERAL area, and it is NICE that kids can see it, and many even add to it.

So your idea of 11 is not only a non sequitor, it is senseless to believe it anyway.

Frankly, I am happy such things get moved. Alex has no obligation to inform us of such things. It WOULD be nice, but proper notification would have OTHER implications. Some webhosts limit Email, and if he was to notify the original poster, he should notify all other posters in the thread.

Every time I can't find one of my topics, I go to my profile and view my posts and look for it.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't believe loborojo is from the US, so he might not be familar with US laws. Also, are you sure there is a law about "reading stuff", if so, I have never heard of it (Just to clarify, I'm not trying to be a smartass and taking the word stuff literally, I know (or at least think I know) what you meant.

Well, he isn't from the US, but Alex is. And he spoke of 11? That seems like a pretty arbitrary age. I have heard of 13 in some cultures, but it seems like most places require people to be older. The 13yo age is C.O.P.P.A. rules, and are just reasonable. Heck, I learned about them just by being on the internet.

Yeah, you probably understood what I meant even if I did state it in a vague manner. Basically, in the US, people aren't supposed to have such explicit things placed where they might be accidently read by someone under 18. They ARE reasonable, and not well enforced, but they are there. So having them in a forum, with a warning, as they are here, is fine. The general autism discussion has no such warning though. It is meant to be pretty open.
