Hey folks --

I've just launched a new forum you may want to check out: Neurodiversity University: An open community for those who live, work, teach, assist, and parent neurodiversity. Much like WrongPlanet (but a bit broader in scope), this site is meant to be a safe place where those who are neurodiverse (ASD, AD/HD, NLD, LD, bi-polar -- differences that are hard-wired and not acquired) can share, learn, and connect.

It's open to ND individuals, parents, teachers, therapists, counselors, friends...and meant to be a place of mutual learning and understanding.

It's a bit empty still, as it is brand new, but feel free to stop on by and check it out!

Hmm. I was always in favor of a broader definition of neurodiversity than 'hardwired but not acquired', especially (but not only) since if you acquire something early enough it can be impossible to discern from each other.
