Beware: Spelling and badly worded things
I have been researching different mental dissabilities/differences since about 5th grade. I discovered aspergers in 7th grade and I think I have probably got it but I am unsure.
I have social problems, eyecontact, gestures, expressions, perfectionist, good long term memory, very forgetful, stimming, hate change, love patterns and organization, I tend to take things litterally, I do "weird things", and I usually like to be alone.
Yet I have above average physical strength (I have heard that most aspies dont) and I dont lack empathy, sympathy, or compassion (many would say I have to much).
So...What do you think?
LOL You sound a lot like me when I was young! Only difference seems to be eye contact. I was also super strong. I worked at a feed store in my late 20s & carried out bags of horse feed weighing 80 pounds & was also required to lift 100 plus bales of hay into customers' trucks. My boss was amazed that I could lift the big bags & hay bales because I was pretty average in height & weight. Can't remember how much weight I could lift in a gym, but it was pretty good for a "girl."
I haven't been diagnosed either, but after doing a lot of research it sure looks like Aspergers is what makes me so unusual. It's really the only thing that makes sense!
