See all you need to do is become "academically smart" in a field that is in great demand. You get your little piece of paper called a degree and then you're off in the real world ready to make some real money.
That's why I always laugh out loud at the Wizard giving the Scarecrow a Diploma in "Thinkology", it's just a piece of paper that proves the person jumped through the proper hoops and got rewarded with. When I worked for Sinister McScrooge, I realized he wasn't smarter than I am. He was a far better salesman than I could ever be, and was absolutely ruthless in closing a deal.
MAN, just TODAY two IDIOTS, that do LESS work than I do, so they probably get paid MORE per hour of "actual" work than I do, showed me that they knew SO little about their job that they were like race car drivers that don't know what tires or gas are! And THEY supposedly got one of those diplomas of thinkology! ONE even tried to push my info back in my face saying I was wrong. A few minutes later, I got to hear his apology because HE WAS WRONG!
So YEP, money and intelligence are RARELY linked! Some of the smartest people are NOWHERE NEAR any list, and some IDIOTS are practically on all of them.
