Improved in many ways.

It's gotten worse because of my health problems and the fact that at 41, I can't keep up with the kids half my age out there in the job market anymore.

Life on welfare. :(

I'm hoping things will improve again.

I voted consistent. However, it's with a twist. My life has been consistently inconsistent since childhood. Life will be good for a little while, & then I get punished.

Life will be passable for a couple months and then I'll get punished with everything going wrong at the same time and my life being back at square one, for years.

Absolutely improved. This is partly luck in finding a niche. But childhood was very painful, being different and not knowing why. Being unable to follow any role model. Age has taught me to seek my own path, and not to envy. To tolerate and be good to others, but to keep my home turf for myself alone. Being more able to take mood swings in stride, knowing they're inevitable and not based upon external events. Not having unrealistic expectations. And, yes, to try to move closer to God. These lessons have been learned slowly and painfully, and I value them more than gold.

Life for me goes in a circle good times, ok and worse times so hard to say any one!
Age may change how I view the world and wisdom helps me make sense, but my life has never been static or a stereo type "norm" 8O

Things don't shake me up like they used to when I was younger. I guess I've learned a lot of coping strategies. And as retirement from the world of work draws closer every year, the workplace doesn't feel quite so dangerous. The midlife crisis is over. 8)

i feel mature, almost...finally! Not as mature as my peers, but as mature as someone in their 30's.

the body, different story.

My mind is definately better, though...except for forgetfullness and lately pulling words from files has been off some.

I'd say degenerated because emotionally & lifestyle-wise I'm a young 20-something, whereas all my peers are married with kids etc, so I don't really fit in anywhere.

Plus I'm stuck in totally the wrong job & can't seem to escape.

consistent I wrote...in that I am getting older and now only like a delayed maturity looking around the corner, telling me...you have nothing to fall back on. I traveled cause I was restless and always wanted to see new things on the horizon, but I have no home, sleep in guesthouses around the world and my few friends I never get to see for long as they live on different continents. I get worried as to what will happen in 10 or 15 years from here.
