Would you ever consider working at a gas station? I wouldn't, as it is quite dangerous.

No, never. I hate the smell of gasoline, and I would have to wash my hands every time I touched the pumps. (I'm so glad I live in a state where self-service is illegal.)

I would work at a gas station as a cashier. I don't believe there are any full service gas stations around here anyway. I wouldn't mind being a clerk, but not during the night shift. It might be fun having a job at a 7/11.

Only if there were no other jobs available.

I'd take any job that would hire me. The only thing I wouldn't like would be dealing with customeers, especaily the jackasses who b***h at you because of high gas prices.

...Oddly enough I think I would laugh at them.

No because I don't think they pay you much. Under $10 I assume.

Done it. I guess if it was the only job I could find, I would do it again.

My brother used to work night shifts in one. He is an aspie too and did fine. Though this is in the UK. I'm getting the feeling from you guys that it's considered dangerous, probably in the US?

:) They're getting a hell of a lot of money, and you're getting paid for sticking a nozzle in a hole? Why not?

In this state it is 100% self service. Your job would basically be as a cashier. I guess I could do it, but I probably wouldnt like it much.

Nah, too many carcinogens. Besides, I'd probably sell gas at $6 on a stretch of route 66 anyway.

I've considered it before, but I wouldn't actually apply. I'd be a terrible cashier...but then again, I've had some really bad ones before...dunno how long they keep their job for

only temporarily though,
when they're giving the premises a paint job

sit shaded in the evening sun & dream
& ah the scented solitude of an oilspil

burn on big river, burn on
