Dan Howitt sent me this. I like the way of this blog. Touching. Personal. Some examples.

No doubt if you've found this site, your life has been touched by autism. I am the parent of two boys, my four year old was diagnosed with autism one week before his second birthday. My younger son was then only six months old. You will hear many parents say that they have big dreams for their children's future. But after a diagnosis of autism, your dreams are different dreams. After speaking with so many parents, there is the common chord that resonates with each of us. At the same time, each of our children is unique with individual needs--whether autistic or not.

I have attempted to document our journey once we received Dominic's diagnosis of autism throughout this site. The Internet is not lacking websites teeming with information about Autism. My purpose in creating this site is to simply relate our family's personal story in the hopes that it may help other families through diagnosis. The best resource I've found is other parents! I don't have all the answers but we can help each other and share strategies that work.
