The October 7th THE NEW YORKER runs a Profile of Arianna Huffington .
The writer notes AH , on the road , frequently offering positions of being a blogger at H. Post to many - including a " teenage , Asperger's-afflicted " son of someone she meets .
has this teenager blogged there ?
The language I used was TNY's language , that's why it's in quotation marks .
I am REALLY hurried now , so...

...I had to really hurry thru this the first time ( Not much more time now . My library time is running out . ) .
The TNY followed Huffington thru her travels/promotional stuff , the writer describing her frequently inviting people to be Huff Post bloggers , including ' the ' Aspergers'-afflicted ' teenageson of a bookstore owner , and I double-quoted the language TNY's writer used , i thought some people here might express objection to such language , that is why I have emphasized that is was a QUOTE...........(Incidentally , do non-" star " bloggers for such sites get ANY money ? Even the tiniest " stipend " ? )

I dont think many people here will be surprised that this particular writer didnt know enough about AS to describe it more accurately. And given the general consensus about autism amongst the public, this isnt very unusual. I dont think it is either wise nor fair to be so adamantly objected to the wording in a post, especially if the writer did not intend any offense, but was merely misinformed.
