My interest in learning Psychology isn't so much saying for example you drink alcohol go to rehab it's more WHY you drink alcohol analyzing your brain sober vs. drunk etc. you get the idea. which this thought got me to thanking do we know the brain components of it Aspergers? Why can't I understand jokes or find stuff that should be of interest election or Olympics etc. interesting. Sure I'm different then others due to AS but what are the brain mechanics behind these issues? :-)

A lifetime with a lack of mirror neurons?

Since the whole pecking order thing never was clear, we had little interest in things that were based on it. Like sports.

It's only been recognized for about 60+ years, and only admitted into the 'big book' of recognized 'disorders' a bit over 10 years, relatively speaking. There's a lot we just don't know yet. I've heard about the mirror neurons before, and some areas of the brain respond differently, but hopefully someone will find the answers one day.

Stay tuned...
