I suffer
Manifold are my anxieties
Ever they are present
My torment

Never decreasing
They always increase
It is pain
I never forget

Those many anxieties
Choke my heart
And steal my breath

Like a girl
Named Nakeesha
Whom I miss
Dearly

She left me
But five years ago
I love her
But she left me
And that's kind of lame.

No, I don't think so. Love is it's own reward and the reason for its own existence, whether or not it's returned or appreciated. In a way, I think it's more sincere because it isn't based on response or reciprocation.

"Your love for her is yours. It belongs to you. She rejects it, but she can't destroy it. She's just missing out on it. What you give, Momo, is yours for good. What you keep is lost forever."
