This is just a foul thought of mine, but I wonder if people can go so far to kill people to give 'aspie people' a bad image.

I mean...this person tells everyone he's an aspie.. then kills everyone....to make people think even worse of aspies.

If you want.. skip this post.(it's content is about negative stuff and I have no positive solution).

Wait... what!?! More important than giving a bad reputation to those of us with AS, you know someone who has killed people!?! Do the authorities know about what this person has done?

just because you're an aspie doesnt mean you are going to kill anyone or give people with AS a bad name, not all of us are bad.

As I recall, one researcher (of autism/AS) said that the facts of one case of Aspergers would generalize to exactly one case of Aspergers.

In other words, people with Aspergers are vastly different from each other.

Serial killers are also vastly different from each other in various ways.

Do you mean someone who just says they're Aspie but they're really not? And they go kill people just to give us a bad reputation?

Some human beings have done bad things; they've given human beings a bad name! Some men have done bad things; some women have done bad things; some white people have done bad things; some black people have done bad things; some Asians have done bad things; some Christians have done bad things; some Jews have done bad things; some Muslims have done bad things; some atheists and agnostics have done bad things; some neo-pagans and Wiccans have done bad things; some very intelligent people have done bad things; some morons have done bad things; some psychotic people have done bad things; some mentally sound people have done bad things; some depressed people have done bad things; some stable-mooded people have done bad things; almost all good people have done some bad things.

I wouldn't be surprised if some people with Asperger's syndrome have done bad things from time to time.

Only if the publisher manages to connect one's bad behaviour to AS. But even if it has something with the crime of someone, generalization is always wrong.

And why would somebody dislike Aspies that much, I wonder?

Or did you mean that somebody would kill people and then deliberately act abnormal to try and back a false claim that they have some mental condition that might make people sympathize with them?

Either way, I'm disgusted with some of societies ideas about AS. The articles on William Freund kept stressing the fact that he had AS even though clearly his AS is not to blame for what he did and is hardly as relevant to the situation as the stories might imply.
