Really strange observation . . .
I was describing to this person I like to be around the video clips in my head of the term 'silly' as in a ridiculous concept or desire or belief - and one of them involves another person I like to be around showing me how silly a question I had asked him was . . . it occured to me that I remember this situation in the first person - which is very unusual for me -usually I remember things as if I were watching a movie and I can see myself acting and I know it is myself, but I see myself just like any other character onscreen . . .
Anyway, what I realized when I was recounting this video clip in my head I realized that the person I was interacting with in this situation is very touchy - and I wonder if that might have something to do with it - maybe that is why I remember it in first person - I was reviewing other video clips in my head and I discovered that all of the ones that I remember in first person involve touch . . .
Not every situation where I am touched switches to first person, but all the ones that are in first person invovle touch . . . isn't that odd?!
This suggests to me that touch is such a strange stimulus to me that it actually changes the way my brain records an event . . .
I just thought this was an interesting observation and I was wondering if anyone else sees this in themselves . . .
