Sorry to post again. By chance are there any scientists/authors/activists (NT or autistic) here on wrongplanet to ask questions?

Many of us are activists to some small degree. Many of us write things that aren't published (or not published yet), or keep blogs. If you're talking high-profile activism, or published authors, then only a few.

Scientists... I know there are a decent number of people with science-related degrees. I'm a biomedical engineering undergrad, for example. I know there's a guy with a physics degree around here somewhere... I've heard people mention PhD's too.

Meh. You're gonna have to ask your questions before we can figure out whether we can answer them.

I'm no scientist, but I think you'll find many people here who have a scientific outlook, a decent knowledge base, and the means to find the information you seek, and this is essentially what makes a scientist.

Also, beware of people who claim to be authorities on anything, especially if they claim to have the final answer to end all questions. Unless of course they actually do... (Have to add that to cover myself ). And remember that a well-informed and thoroughly reviewed scientific consensus is more helpful than the opinion of any individual, no matter how educated.

I have a friend who is an aspie author and we are working on printing, binding and self publishing his book . He is also very "sciency" but I am more "arty", though I think I have a curious and logic mind and that is a big part of science .

I also advocate for clarification of the current mis-information of Aspergers in my blog...though it is also a craft blog...my "other" obsession . (You have to go to the beggining of the blog to read about the book my aspie friend wrote).
