There is a Chevy Tahoe (sport utility vehicle for non-US residents) behind our house now. We do not own it. It got there because a friend of my mom's owns it. This friend had sold it to her mentally ill sister, who didn't make the payments. So the friend repossessed it, she still had a key so she just showed up at her sister's house and drove it away. Well, now Sis is on the warpath, she's vowing to burn the car. The car is worth $10,000, even with the gas crisis, so this friend does not want her car torched. So it is behind our house. My mom wants to help out her buddy, but I don't want this woman sneaking onto our land to destroy this car. So the lesson is, if you don't have friends, you won't have to bail them out of miscellaneous bad decisions, and hide stuff for them.

lol yeah I'm lost on this one as well.

Sounds like a real predicament. Why not just tell whoever to get the SUV the hell out of there so you're not an accessory to a crime.

I would be one of the worst friends people can have because I will not do illegal things for them, bail them out just because they decided to do something stupid, keep giving them money just because they keep asking me for it and never paying me back, etc.

Yes, but where are you going to hide your quasi-legally reposessed goods from a crazy sibling if you don't have any friends? Answer me that!

Hmmm... pay for underground parking til' it blows over?

Park it by public transit and pick it up every day?

I think he has a touch of prosopagnosia, though, since Mom and O.P. look identical in the diagram.

And shouldn't there be some flames coming from the Chevy Tahoe?

Oh well--I don't see this whole situation as being a big deal. Given enough time, any Chevy will combust spontaneously anyway. Or is that Ford? :P

Sorry, CTBill, I am using Paint on my work computer- so my rendering is pretty basic. :D
Perhaps the fire has already been put out?
:P
