Least (or most) sarcastic places?

Just wondering what people think are the least or most sarcastic places, areas, regions etc. What places have you found have the least sarcastic people and more nice, straight forward mentality?

I sort of nicked this from a thread I came across on City Data.

Sadly, when the person posted the thread there about this, people were quite flippant towards him. He was from Los Angeles, and California is a place known for having a sarcasm in its culture. He mentioned he had social anxiety disorder and a learning disability, though I don't know if he had AS.

But with my struggles with sarcasm, a less sarcastic place would sure suit me.

Many rural areas don't have a lot of sarcastic people in them, especially in the northeast US, where people can be a bit on the reserved side.

As I got it too. More rural places seems to accept different people more than typichal urbanized areas. Strange, cause others say that odd people might more easily blend in perhaps in NY or big cities?
Bad you said north east. I have got a crush on the north west, i.e. Oregon and WA. One of my dreams is to find a job in that area and live there. Bad chanches for that in the times of economical crisis.
I can at least dream of spending the vacation there? Sarchastic or not

The NYC area is definitely not one of the least sarcastic places.

That suits me fine since I don't mind sarcasm and have been known to employ it.
