I am glad there are measures being placed and actions to stop places from senselessly restraining children. There seems to be a superiority complex throughout history in psychiatric hospitals where it is okay to abuse the patients because they are "sub-human."

am do not understand, have pysch hospitals in oregon not been required to say when restraining has been used?
cannot believe how theyve managed to get away with it for so long, there should be exact details taken of what restraining is used.

where am live-a residential home, the staff log all restraining they do to am on 'ABC forms',also in the morning/eve/night reports, and they have to fill out body forms to-marking off where on body have been held, plus every single restraint they use has to be allowed first by the behavioral specialist and then wrote in own guidelines.
why is it they can do that in a very badly run res. home, but not in a pysch hospital for children?

if data is not public anyone can get away with it but in children cases data should be public to all doctors involved 8O
