ASD and pains
This might seem strange but I was wondering if any other people here on the spectrum has issues with pain, namely unexplained pain. I have chronic leg pain and no one can figure out why that it. It's really frustrating not knowing what it could be. Lately they've been trying to treat me for restless leg because I move my legs a lot to deal with the pain, but with no success so I'm just biding time with a small supply of Tramadol. Does anyone have cases of pain with no logical source? If so how do you deal with it?

am obviously no doctor so this is just a user opinion but perhaps shoud ask them if it coud be neuralgia or nerve related in some other form as that woud explain it.
if it is neuralgia or other nerve dysfunction, the most helpful medications are low doses of certain anti epileptic medications such as tegretol, gabapentin or pregabalin, am a suffer of trigeminal [face] neuralgia since nineteen after having had bad root canal work done.
am surprised were given tramadol for it without any specialist intervention as it coud be neuralgia or another nerve related problem and opiates really just dull the problem they dont help it-they shoud at least be given with a more specific drug in this case, because am under the mental capacity act and not respected or listened to by doctors;am tagged with the label of mental addiction by doctors which is untrue, suffer from severe pain every day from headaches caused by regular head banging, sensory and information overload,am only on a daily doseage of 6x15/500 of codeine and paracetemol [US=acetephomen] plus an NSAID painkiller called naproxen for three fcked teeth and have an agonising unmedicated L1-L5 spinal injury which has resulted in a lot of severe effects besides pain, still dont know what it will be diagnosed as;whether compression of the spinal cord nerves or neuralgia,as have got an MRI scan next month.

I was put on Gabopentin and something else as trial runs... But they both made me severely suicidal and I had to stop before I had a chance to see any benefits. I'm also on Tramadol for cramping and stuff. Basically I used to take Naproxen Sodium but I was allergic to it so I was getting stomach ulcers and acid reflux worsened while on it.
