I personally do not condone any therapies that have to do with behavior modification because autism is not a behavioral problem so treating it like one is only going to do psychological damage to someone with autism. By basically telling them everything about how they function, process things, interact, and express themself is bad and that normal people are good so unless they can pass for normal they are bad and should be punished.
Speech therapy could be good depending on how severe speech/communication issues are.
But yeah I am not an expert I just know trying to punish and reward the autism out of someone would not be the way...and that is what behavior modification type therapies would do.
