I'm not obsessed but I can tell you that I started to be interested in politics when I was 7 or 8 years old. I knew everything about the political parties, the politicians, internal issues and foreign affairs. I had my own ideas. I was the only one in my elementary school to write homeworks about politics ! ! The teacher was scared ! !

I'm obsessed with politics. Voting Day is like Christmas for me. It once got to the point where I was asking the Members of my Clubhouse which party they voted for in the British Columbia Provincial Election a couple years ago.

Used to be obsessed with it for a while, I even was a major in Political Science two years that I did attend university. Of course, became a parent and then had to deal with two sons and didn't have time to really even read newspapers or much else.

I'm not obsessed with politics, but I am interested in it. I have developed a relatively liberal worldview with a touch of cynicism for mainstream politics. I have had many discussions about the two major presidential candidates here in the United States and have espoused my view on why President George W. Bush is not a good president, mainly due to his war in Iraq. At times I have fantasized about running for political office, but I hardly have the charismatic, leading personality that makes a successful politician.

I'm probably obsessed with the American presidency and with politics here in Australia. Last week George W Bush's close friend and conservative Australian Prime Minister John Howard was re-elected for another three year term. I think Bush got a great deal of encouragement from the fact a foreign leader who sent soldiers to Iraq was re-elected. I have left wing views and opinions and I think Bush has been a pathetic President who has not told the truth on many issues and has made the world less safe. I did read an article two years ago in which it was revealed President Thomas Jefferson possibly had Asperger's syndrome. Unfortunately in today's society of mass communications I don't think a person with Asperger's could be elected to such a high position as President or Prime Minister.

I am rather interested in politics but where I live, people mainly have conservative viewpoints and politically apathetic, so I get percieved as being wierd most of the time. It helps my writing sometimes, when I surpirse my teachers with in-depth looks of government policies and society. Needless to say, I'm not the most politically well-versed person around, but I'm way ahead of most people my age.

I do not have a particular political stance, but I have been told that a lot of what I say coincides with libertarian ideals.

Yes, and it is frustrating.

I understand politics too well to be obsessed with it.

I got my BS degree in Political Science. I love it. I would rather miss my Birthday and Christmas than miss the four year Election cycle.

To be honest politics is one of the few things I enjoy talking about with people I don't know, simply for the experience of learning others views. Not many people seem to find it that interesting around here though. I can't wait to get to University as most of the interesting people I've met and stayed in touch with recently are friends of my friend who is attending.

Yeah, I am. Nobody else in my class knows anything about politics, they don't even know who George Bush is, LOL.
