Why is it that I don't feel the need to prove anything to anybody here at WP, but in the real world, I have to prove myself to others that I'm a worthwhile person who doesn't need to be cured, or that I can be tougher than I really am? Why is it sooooo easy for me to be honest about myself, my temperament and personality traits on WP. What is it about the real world, that makes it slightly more difficult?

I assume it's for two main reasons:

1) We're Aspies like you.

2) We're strangers on the internet who are, generally speaking, much easier to ignore if you so please, and that makes you feel more comfortable talking to us.
