I've noticed in alot of my own pictures that my eyes never seem very open and I've seen the same in pics of other people with aspergers. Is there a reason for this?

Is this only in photos where a flash was used? I ALWAYS blink when a flash is used. I mean ALWAYS. I hate it when people want to do posed group pictures, because they end up with a lovely picture with this one doofus-looking person (me) with her eyelids at half-mast, looking like some kind of drugged weirdo.

I've learned to not look into the camera, but to look away a bit, and if the person taking the picture insists that everyone look into the camera, I say, "Okay, but I always blink when there's a flash, and my eyes will be half-closed." It's amazing how many people don't believe it. So, I look into the camera, and they end up with a crappy picture, but it's their fault. Still, it would be nice to have a decent photo of myself.

Anyway, I'm guessing that's what's happening with you. If it happens when there is no flash, then, um, maybe you just walk around with your eyes half-shut.

I always look half-asleep/stoned in pics. I think my light sensitivity has a lot to do with it; if I'm outside or in a bright place and I'm not wearing my dark glasses, I tend to squint a lot. And I'm sure the flash from the camera makes me start to close my eyes at the moment the picture is taken, too.

That's true. I can hardly see when it's summer and sunny, I have to spend most of my time outside looking down and have to lift my hands over my eyes when I'm at the lights.

Probably why I hate going out in the summer (okay I'm agorophobic, but even before that I hated the summer. If I ever have the money and the ability I'd love to move somewhere like Alaska!)

Light sensitivites are soooooo painful. When I used to play football, I found it hard when my side of the field was facing the sun. I also found it harder to hit a guy acuratly when the sun was in my eyes... Maybe I should specify this is American football... But I have always love the aggressive sports, I also did wrestling for a bit. Snowboarding is fun, however, I cannot stand being on certain runs at certain times because of sunlight.
