I had a mirror on the wall in my house which I would get scared walking past because I could see someone in it out of the corner of me eye. :DI used to rush past looking the other way or with my hand over my eyes.

hey i wonder if your lightbulb fear was caused by seeing one shatter? it can be pretty messy, i was shocked first time i saw that happen.

actually i had a fear of ladders as a kid: that they came to life at night. i had one propped against my bedroom wall when i was very little and think i was woken one night by the sound of my parents going at it in the next room and the ladder was thudding against the wall.

I used to be afraid of Bullwinkle from the cartoon show by the same name. In case you don't know, Bullwinkle is a moose. At this one Family Fun Center near where I live, they had a lifesize model of Bullwinkle and some other characters playing in a band. It was in the food court and they used to start playing every half an hour or so. I refused to go in the foodcourt most of the time.

I also used to be afraid of owls and I used to think they hovered outside my window. If I left my curtains open till night time, I would refuse to go in my room until someone else had closed them.

Yes, i think that may have been the cause, I hated the thought of sharp things, but sharp glass really gave me a fright as a child. :)

And I can totally relate to the ladder issue, I hated them when I was younger, I could never understand why, but I just hated them so much. :)

I used to go tp work with my dad..I was afraid of this cardboard cut out that was in the ladies restroom of a guy in a trech coat and a caption that read "the bad guys are coming"...(maybe I took it literally)
Public restrooms in general were always creepy to me if I was by myself...

Also i was terrified of ghosts.

I used to be afraid of a chandelier in the condo where my family lived when I was a kid. The chandelier looked vaguely similar to a glass barrel, with wrought iron decorations on the outside.

Just the thought creeps me out, but I'm not afraid of sharp objects stuck in me.

I was afraid of my mother.I thought she used to hide my shoes and other stuff so that she could later yell at me because I couldnt find them and was always late getting ready for school.....

"Mom,do you know where my shoes are."
"Do I look like I wear your shoes?"
(me thinking..."No,you like like you hid them because you love to yell at me")

I was once scared by a preying mantis when it turned it's head and looked at me...I dropped the jar I was going to put him in...

As a kid I was afraid of:
Clowns
Doctors, any kind of doctor, specially dentist
Needles
Pills
Mannequins
Dogs
Going out of home
School
Claustrophobia (mildly I think)
Horror movies
Nightmares
Firecrackers
Balloon Burst
Eye globe

As an adult, I still have same fears except for clowns, mannequins and claustrophobia
now I am adding social phobia
