No! Why in the heck would I pay to maintain what is my civil right anyway?

I don't know. Maybe if the alternative were something like a lobotomy, I would. I don't think we should have to pay to maintain our identity. I would flee.

Look on it as a monthly subscription.

Depends. I'd have to look into the positives and negatives of each choice first. Would I still be the same person if I were cured-- what else would be different about me?

A very rational proviso.

Most Aspies take it as an insult and indignantly cry 'How dare you ?' or words to that effect ... like being Aspoid is so bluddy wonderful.
I thought about saying that they simply say no because they're natural pessimists - but Aspies aren't known for their sunny dispositions and anger comes to them much more easily than cool-headed rationality.

Way to go, buryuntime ! :thumb:

In answer to your question (and honour and recognition of your rationality), the following information has been provided : -

1) - No more sensory integration issues.
2) - No more meltdowns
3) - You feel lucid, happy and mentally agile.
4) - Your thoughts become a source of interest, not anxiety or depression
5) - You no longer have to think up/manufacture responses in social situations, it all comes instinctively
6) - People find you amusing, interesting and likable
7) - You like and can genuinely connect with humanity
8) - You're much more up-together because you have excellent executive functionality (self awareness, self-control, good working memory, motivation)
9) - Your thoughts become much more crystalline and in consequence, you are able to communicate and express them very succinctly - both verbally and on paper.
10) - Your new found sociability and popularity mean that you can choose from a wide range of occupations
11) - You get positive reactions from humanity and attract lots of friends.
12) - You find yourself supported by friends and family because they like you.
13) - You can look forward to a career with genuine scope for promotion
14) - The world is full of potential rather than hostility and uncertainty
16) - Your sporting potential in unleashed and you can enjoy a variety of them
17) - You are graceful and elegant in motion
18) - You are respected by humanity
19) - You are loved by humanity
20) - Life is just a great deal easier
21) - You get to lead a life that fulfills your need for security, belonging and self-realisation

.... but I'm afraid that's all.

Guess I'm just lucky, but I already have these. I must have a "better" family and hang out with "better" people.

Not sure what these mean. I am respected and loved by the people I know. But by no means do I know all of humanity...

Go tell that to the billions of NTs living in poverty. I'm sure they'll shed a tear for you.

I don't have the 1 million dollars to pay. Silly question. Anyway, there is no "cure" for AS.

That list of gains is amazingly good; it's all that I don't have and can't aspire to due to my NVLD.

These are not related to AS. They are related to a bad environment. Never had any of these issues.

These is the only one that are related to AS

I don't need a cure for this. Already in place.

I strongly dislike sports, both participation and watching.

Are these the traits you want to cure?
