Does anyone here have episodes of severe itching that seems to permeate over most parts of their body?
Every now and then, I get these attacks that don't last entirely too long, but seem to be really annoying. I need to take a brush and start scratching myself all over, sometimes pretty hard. They seem to come out of nowhere. It's not clothes or anything, since these attacks tend to happen mostly when I'm at home. I tend to wear very little clothes at home, with the exception of pants. It usually starts on the arms, and I start scratching these areas, and then it goes to my back, and then to my legs.
Is this some sort of bizarre sensory disturbance aspies are known for?

Absolutely. Always wondered if it was just me. I worry about my co-workers thinking maybe I am unclean, though my appearance would tell otherwise. But still, I feel odd when I scratch my neck, then my head, then my arm, then my back, then whatever else. This happens a lot when I'm driving as well, and I'm sitting at a red light trying so hard not to scratch every itch as I would feel like everyone around me would be thinking "WTF!?"
None of my medications have this as a side-effect either, plus it's something I've done my entire life. Kind of like my chronic yawning, I just hate it.
