I#ve been trying to find info on the net but I can't seem to find anything on this.

Basically, I understand some people disagree with me on things but sometimes things can get hostile if I think they're wrong. Sometimes, I hate people's opinions if I think they're wrong.

I wondered if anyone can relate?

I only get annoyed when someone's opinion is wrong. For example. Someone says a hot chick is fat and ugly when she is thin and pretty. I hate liars. Maybe they're just trolling when they do it to piss people off. Maybe I'll ignore them.

I only get this way over facts. My bf and I got into an argument over Mt St Helens having some lava in it and I kept telling him it did not. I got real angry with him and said he was being an idiot (I really lost it there) and told him to look it up on the internet. That is exactly what he did when we got home and I said "See, told you."

I'm only like that with opinions I feel really strongly about. Otherwise I can tolerate different views.

Hey, thanks for the reply. Yea, I get like that over facts too. But when it comes to opinions that are purly academic, I can take it.. like say people have their opinions when it comes to philosophical debates and I can respect them.
But... and yes, this is going to be one of those why I can't stand NT's sort of thread... I can't stand 'social' opinions.. if that makes sense.

I've had an issue with someone on facebook.. maybe this topic should go under haven.. but basically, she told me one minute she likes me and then doesn't want to talk to me anymore the next... she has borderline personality disorder but I deleted her off facebook because I couldn't take her munpulativness anymore. I wrote a note which was avaliable for everyone to read, but I changed it to private so only I could see it but somehow one girl managed to read it and she wrote a reply saying 'do you want people to dislike you? when I spoke to you in collge you seemed nice, but this is just unreasonable. People have problems and they don't need to be critisied by people who think they are better'

that got me angry because I don't think I am better. I wrote in the note why I dislike borderline pd. (I got labeled with it before asperger's but it was wrong and I did so much research into it) I just can't stand people's opinions like this. I ended up deleting her comment and deleting her. I feel like people should understand me. But I don't know. If people don't like what I say then they should just not speak to me.

I thought maybe I had narcessistic PD myself, but there was no express mention of disliking opinions of others and I don't relate to any of the other symptoms so I don't know.

I don't sweat it that much. There are some people you just can't reach. They wants it, and they gets it. Failure to communicate...

A discussion involves a minimum of 2 people who at least have the ability to 'see the other side'.
If not, no amount of time is going to help convince someone of their errors.

I'll make an attempt, but if they don't budge, I leave them to their own devices. Life's to short to beat sense into everyone..;)

I'm totally ok with people disagreeing with me, on whatever issue, about religion, philsophy and politics, I don't mind at all, quite the opossite, finding that more interesting, I would have an issue with opinions that could affect a person's credibility and reputation, if they are unfounded, and if I like the person affected or if it's me.

Ad nauseum, the form of repeating the same word or phrase, all over and shouting it, ignoring any argument and evidence, is quite annoying, e.g. "Liar", "he did it", "No no no.."

Appeal to force, is also annoying, although it could be necessary sometimes, depending on the situation.

Sometimes I find, not annoying, but funny with those who believe to actually know and be the judge of truth, their "truth". I sometimes see this as a dangerous thing, with distrust, when they are activists and have some power.

They probably are saying she's fat and ugly because:
A) They are female and they are jealous of her
B) They're male and she probably turned them down

I had a skinny friend who would say he was fat as a joke.

I do sometimes hate the opinion of others, but sometimes I give time to see if they are right. I hate people that have strong opinions about things they know nothing about.

Dislike of the emotional topic

I prefer logical opinions, and those backed up with facts. Insults I cannot deal with, and the chit chat is very annoying. :x

I don't have a problem with people disagreeing with me, but sometimes it's like they're just being horrible to me for having a different opinion.

I am against animal cruelty, and though this doesn't seem to me to be a bad way to be, people at school think I'm a total freak because of it. People don't even say anything to dispute what I'm saying, they just mock me. They have a joke where they say, "Ere Gina, I've got chicken for dinner tonight!" in the hope that it will offend me. I'm merely annoyed that they THINK that will offend me. I don't care if other people choose to eat meat.
