If I'm breaking down the etimology of what your saying right its seductive but extremely detremental - especially when moving away from it is like trying to climb a mountain and diving into it is literally like breaking into summersaults downhill. Point is we can't get too immersed in autism/AS in this world because the more we do the more we smash up our functioning and that 'naval gazing' as you put if before has far more destructive power in our lives than trying to be 'NT' all day long. The need to be something we aren't isn't gonna go away, at least probably not in our lifetimes.

Well I liked their early stuff, they had a good post-reggae-influenced-punk sound mixed with a kind of penroyal-tea-moderable society slash madeline kroker style, but you know, European. Their first album: "Aspilicious" was rock hard, rock long, Jud Biederlson's extended sax solos where like the waify bits on pavlova. "Children of the Aspilution" was sweet, extended concept album work, a new direction for them really. Their third release "I Want Aspie You Up" was a big let down both critically and commercially, it came out the same time as Peter Molockson, their guitarist, quit. So I suppose they're a bit of hit and miss really.
