Okay, okay, okay...

You have to see this.

The subject of Autism, tastefully handled by Thailand filmmakers. Is Autism a "blessing or a curse?" I'll let you decide. When you watch the trailer for Chocolate.

I laughed, I cried, I sort of died inside. This is my Rainman, baby...

I enjoyed Ongbak. I'm sure this will be enjoyable too. I assume you've seen this movie?

To me, it doesn't look like a movie about autism. It looks like a movie about martial arts, involving a girl with autism. You get me?

Also, Pandd made a good point. Try to keep in mind that there are dial-up users and that posting youtube videos will affect their connection/processing speed.

No, I haven't seen it yet.

Yeah, it's obviously just a schtick/dramatic device. I just thought it's funny.

And it'll only affect Pandd's connection if she clicks on it to watch it, right?

Haha! "This movie is everything you'll ever need to know about autism!" That's awesome.

And now that you mention it (about the dial-up) that's also a good point. I haven't used dial-up in ages, so I've no clue. Sorry then if I missed Pandds point and/or offended you in any way.

No offence taken.

Have you started a new profile? I seem to remember you having more posts than that... Or have I confused you with someone else?

You've probably confused me with someone else. I'm a noob.

I haven't used dialup since I was 11. Movie looks interesting, plus it puts a slightly different spin on ASDs, but doesn't change much.

Re: Dial-up;
I only meant to explain why I cannot discuss the video clip (it'd take ages to view the footage), a description about the video clip might be helpful (if it is plausible, obviously not every video clip will be easy to give a linguistic summary for). Sorry if this was unclear.

But if anyone is interested, inbedded clips do not usually slow down my connection much if I do not click on them (it can happen but usually this only occurs when there are several on a page, and still images can do the same). The worst problem is when someone puts up a direct link to media that is slow to download, and neglects to point out that it is a video clip or pdf file or what have you; if I click on one of those I loose all control of my computer for several minutes, I cannot even close the browser window).

I do not know if the above is true for all dial-up connection users or if there is some browser dependent variance.

HAHAHA

I actually thought you were serious when you said "tastefully handled," then I watched it. (me dumb sometimes) So she's some kind of "combat savant," then.

For the sake of cheese, I'm probably gonna go see this.

I'm starting to feel like I'm missing out on something here, whether it's viewing the video clip or being a combat savant, I'm unsure of....perhaps both these things?

It would be so sweet to be combat savant... Unfortunatly even if I want to hurt you it is impossible for me to use my full force on a person, and I just can't hit someone with all the strength I have... Even in situations where I want to, which has only happened once.

Bruce Lee was the same way, but everyone knew he could kick ass. Why? He brought his two loves together: movies and kung-fu ^.^

Though I'm sure everyone would still know he kicked ass. He was Bruce Lee.
