weird synesthesia- anyone else?

i know synesthesia is disussed sometimes here, but i have not heard of anyone else having weird aspects of it- i was reminded of this after hearing someone discuss syn on the radio yestoday (see post).

i have synesthesia less frequently now, - music/colour most often. but one of the things i get sometimes is really hard to describe- its like a physical experiance of volume or mass or space or weight, as well as as say colour or smell combined with it.

as if your arm extended and you experianced yellowness, heat or a smell and the sense around your arm of weight or pressure or space. it happens so infrequently that i cant remember it well enough to describe- every 6 months or so...
anyone else?? anyone know what this is?

That's fascinating - it sounds like its own unique form. I'd see what you can find online, there are many different kinds of synesthesia, maybe one matches up.

Long time ago I wrote here about how I experienced (and still experience) my synaesthesia. Recently it started to grow stronger. To me words, behaviors and feelings have not only their colors but as I wrote in there – also their tastes, textures, weight, sometimes also temperature.
