A movie's opened in the United States , " YONKERS JOE " , with Chazz Palmeri .
It deals with a petty cheating gambler who is the father of a high-functioning Down's Syndrome 20-yr old son
( The actor who plays him - not Palmeri ! !! !! !! - is not DS . )
( BTW , IS Down's Syndrome considered to be " one of us/among us :? :wink: ? )

Down Syndrome is not related to Autism. It's a chromosomal disorder. People with down syndrome have an extra chromosome (21 in total {i believe} when it's normal to have 20).
