I also have inexplicable feelings associated with various numbers. I would say i generally find odds more interesting, especially primes. Zero/ten are the most tolerable evens. And 6 in certain situations. The only number i really really don't like is 14. no idea why. Since these feelings far as i've discovered dont necessarily confer any savant abilities (though i do like to study numbers, primes particularly) it may actually signify something slightly schizotypal . . . Just a random explanation for a preference of odd numbers, is that positionally there can be a center, linearly in the least, and further geometric relationships could certainly be explored. I would definitely recommend for you to study the primes (all of which are odd naturally). I consider a prime number, to be the true name of a number, meaning a number should fundamentally be understood as its primal order. 1 is 2, 2 is 3, 3 is 5, 4 is 7, 5 is 11, 6 is 13. Etcetera through infinity, though out finite brains of coarse have limits to comprehension. Ulams spiral, palindrome primes, twin primes. the largest known prime in the decimal system it requires 4,053,946 digits to be written fully : http://www.math.utah.edu/~alfeld/math/largeprime.html. Thats slightly outdated actually its just the largest prime i could find written out in a quick search. Large primes are usually referred to using their Mersenne number, which i am about to read about to try to understand what that means. http://primes.utm.edu is a good resource. Wikipedia is a good starting point too. Holy cow prime numbers make me excited.
