i have a question. i am a female adult with poss. asperger's . i have an overall lack of initiation , esp. when it's just me, to do almost anything. unless its an obsession/something i enjoy. is this common? i am having such a hard time finding an answer or help. i sure hope you can shed some light on this for me.

eek. will need more detail than that. aspergers has many facets, which i am still learning, myself. nvld and pdd-nos may also be of interest to you. have you read many articles on aspergers? is there a local autistic place that you can contact? how are you with people and stuff?

I lack motivation to initiate most things. However if something is a special interest I give it everything and eat and sleep it too. The rest of the time it is just Zzzzzzzzzzz.
