I couldn't seem to get anything done right today at work... Between feeling funky from sensory issues, and thinking too deeply for the work environment I was in, and having to try and understand people while the sun was bothing my visual sensitivites, and the list goes on... By the end I almost appologized to the shift manager and blamed that shift on AS.

Anyone else have days like these?

That's happened to me a lot in class. It used to confuse the hell out of me because I never had any idea what was going on.
I used to have to leave and run into the toilets to calm down.

For the confusion part it at times felt like I couldn't tell the difference between up and potato.

So what actually happened, and what is your job?

Yes and it's even harder to explain whenever someone asks me what's wrong.

I'm glad you brought this up, I have a hard time putting these sensory issues into words and they can affect to a point where I just want to hide and space out for a while.

I work at a coffee shop, a really busy one, and there are just so many things that went wrong that I would have trouble with where to begin.

That has KIND of happened to me, but USUALLY I "have to" appologize to the idiots that CAUSE the problem, and I won't apologize to the cause for causing the problems. AS just makes me more sensitive to such things, it does NOT cause the problems.
