I was trying to watch the water boy with my parents but got sent to my room so I wouldn't have a melt down. OMG! They got mad cause I got upset because the movie just didn't make sense to me. They were like its superposed to be a stupid funny movie it doesn't make sense. I am like it needs to make sense for em to see it as funny. Any one else get upset by illogical movies.

How did it not make sense?

I don't get upset by illogical movies because they are just movies. There are some out there that aren't plausible such as Wall E because I mean cmon no way would buildings last that long for over 600 years left unmaintained. The whole thing just looked implausible to me. They didn't do research or watch Life After People even though it was a speculation. Who knows how long buildings last without people because there be no one to vandalize them. With people, a building can go into ruins in five years after it closes and it looks like it hasn't been used in many years even though it had only been a few.

I like stupid funny movies because I am not a plot seeker. I seldom ever get the plot of a movie or story unless someone tells me, so I just enjoy the stupid funny parts and laugh. I LOVE to laugh, I would much rather watch a stupid funny movie over any serious movie, any day.

I don't understand a lot of movies. So when my friends invite me to a movie, I read the spoilers for it, including the ending. That way, if it has any plot twists or parts that don't seem logical, I'll already be aware of it all in advance. And when I watch the movie, everything will make perfect sense, as opposed to confusing me at every step.

It was a really stupid movie, like really stupid.
I get really angry that they waste time and money making really ridiculous movies because I'm so passionate about film.
I hate it when they remake movies too like Alfie and The Italian Job.

Stole the wors right out of my mouth... Napolian Dynamite was just as stupid. Worse yet, water boy and bubble boy both subtly make fun of ASDers, as there is no way the guy in those movies is NT, and he shows quite a few autistic tendancies. The Italian Job was really overrated. Never heard of Alfie. I liked movies that have an epic feeling to them, and seem like they will transcend time. Gladiator was one of these movies. 300 was pretty good. Now there are also movies that try to be epic and just fail miserably, like Death Race the remake, never saw the original, but it is probably just as bad, although the action was pretty intense. Star Wars was good, the first time through. Watch LotR when you are beyond over tired and have a group of friends with you that like to pick apart movies that are equally tired, it is the greatest 9 hours of comedy ever... Did that with my church's youth group several years back.

That is what I could draw from it too. It was stupid. I could tell that but that guy had problems. Thanks for understanding. It is just the whole with his mom and the transcript and everything.

I was thinking the same thing about Adam Sandler's character in Airheads.
I don't like stupid comedies because they do stereotype a lot.

I don't tend to pick movies apart but when the plot eludes me entirely it can be rather confusing. After watching Napoleon Dynamite, my main thought was "why is this so popular?". And recently I watched The Rocky Horror Picture Show. About 90 minutes of pure, unadulterated WTF. I still have no idea what that film was about.
