Who else here is obsessed with knowledge, and would call knowledge in general a special interest to the point that you could read anything for hours and hours on end if you felt it would give you something to add to your kowledge base.

Ditto. I read anything and everything as the quest for information is paramont.

Not Politics or sports, though. I hate those.

You can't expect to learn something useful from sports.

Agreed with everyone here, including the sports part.

I used to be, I used to think everything could be learnt and if I just learnt enough...

I don't bother now, unless it's an area of special interest.

Definitely. When I had studied enough to realize that there was no way I personally could accumulate all of human knowledge in my own brain, I decided to become a librarian instead. That way, even if I didn't know something myself, I still knew exactly where to look it up if I needed it.

SAME HERE! But I don't try to learn EVERYTHING. I almost wish I COULD though. I ALSO wish I were as diligent as I used to be.
