It's definitely the sound-track which really sells it. Nothing better for a parent-information film than trip-hop. Or maybe it's the opening and closing interviews, with their lighting from hell and the very creepy saying "it can be too late, but it can't be too early".
It seems designed to inspire panic.
Choice quotation: "the baby will try to avoid all physical contact, especially eye contact". I do hate it when people physically contact my eye.

No, to me it isn't scary. However I'll admit the background music is weird.

Ugh ya, have to agree about the music the under-the-chin halloween lighting, and there's something creepy about the stop-motion bears. It would've been better as animation I think. But it's mostly the music.

That gave me the giggles for some reason

This did seriously creep me out. What is with that music? And also, most of that stuff they said was just like "the baby will not respond to _________." or "the baby will avoid interaction."

It is a STUPID video! "Avoids eye contact while breast feeding."????????? WHY should the child look at ANYONE!?!? Is it always able to? I DOUBT IT! As for being held, WHY should a child want that? It isn't REALLY a show of affection and can present a danger. ALSO, it gives the child a lack of control. And that BANANA comment? WOW, how STUPID! A child SHOULDN'T assume such things, and a lot of, perhaps almost ALL, autistic kids learn that like any others do.

And YEAH, I hate the idea of displaying the bears like that, and the music.

BTW I usually HATE bananas. I don't like the smell, the look, the bruising, or the strings inside. They also break too easily. I USED to like banana bread, but I got turned off of it when I found it is basically a way to get rid of old bananas. They recommend using VERY old, or bruised bananas.

I didn't think it was a stupid video, just an inexpensive one. They wanted to make a video demonstrating their points but they were limited in resources so they made do with what they had and this is the result. It didn't look very professional.

It's teddy bears fully clothed and pretending to be human.

And then there's the surreal music suggesting that 'the teddies will come alive at night and eat you and replace your family'.

What's not disturbing about that?
