Sometimes when i'm reminded of pain, someone nearby experiences pain, or i for some other reason come to think of / imagine pain, i feel a mild pain on the back of my thighs.

I didn't think much about this, and thought it was completely normal, until i asked a couple of acquaintances about it and they had not experienced it themselves.

Later i found this article http://www.livescience.com/health/07061 ... faces.html , which describes something vaguely related: Overly empathetic people feeling the same physical touch or pain as another person. But i'm definitely not overly empathetic  , and i don't feel the same physical touch/pain as some other person, i just feels this particular mild pain, always located at the same part of my body.

Can anyone relate to this? And do you think it could be considered a form of synesthesia?

Interesting. It might be. Although you might be more empathetic than you think.
