Is it strange that I relate to this song?

"Part Of Your World" from The Little Mermaid.

I relate to this song because sometimes, I wish for the NT experience, kind of like how Ariel wishes for a human experience. I don't want to be cured of Autism, but sometimes I feel like I have been given unfair circumstances and wish that I could experience things the same as NTs do. I think some people might consider it weird considering that I'm male, and that Ariel is most likely not autistic, but what do you think? And is there something that you relate to that you think might be strange?

No. I also noticed Ariel seems to be obsessed with humans and their world and she goes to sunken ships and collects human stuff from them. Just something an aspie would do stereotypically but that doesn't mean she has it of course. At least she has a place to keep them all and what would she do if she ran out of room? I always felt angry for he when King Tritan destroyed them all. I disliked him too because I thought he was a mean person and couldn't understand how Ariel could love him. I'm older now so I understand now why she still loved him and why he always yelled at her and why he destroyed her collection. Ariel probably knew why too and she knew he just didn't understand so he was trying to protect her and keep her safe like any good parent would and she kept disobeying him. If she were AS, she probably wouldn't even know this about her father due to lack of TOM and difficulty understanding other peoples perspectives.

Well that would make sense if she was since H. C. Andersen was extremely socially awkward so he might have been somewhere along the spectrum.
