I've been taking loxapine for 2 weeks or so and it doesn't seem to do anything to me. True, I don't see black holes anymore, but when I was off my meds for about 9 days before I went on the loxapine, I didn't get any either, except for one scary one in bed at night, and for a second I thought I was going to die. That was probably because I'd been off my Abilify for about 2 days. I was on Celexa and Abilify before I ran out (and couldn't afford to get them refilled, being in a different country and thus not going to the free clinic that gave free meds anymore, and there are none in this country. Then something happened and I ended up in the mental ward, and I was put on loxapine.) Now I'm just on loxapine and nothing else.

Wow, sounds like quite the medication roller-coaster. At least you're only on one; multiple meds can make things pretty confusing when something isn't working or you're getting bad side effects or whatever. Sorry, no direct experience with that one. If it's stopping you from seeing black holes, though, that's a good thing, right? (That sounds really scary, BTW. I've had dreams like that and I'd probably freak out if I saw it while I was awake.)

You think THAT's quite the medication roller-coaster? I've been on Celexa with Seroquel, Celexa alone, Haldol with Prozac, Geodon with Prozac, Celexa with Abilify, Celexa with Risperdal, Celexa with Risperdal and Abilify, loxapine with Risperdal and Ativan as needed, and now loxapine alone. :)

Oh; I forgot; I was also on Zyprexa with Prozac.
