When I type in "Autism Support" "Autism Forums" "Autism Anxiety" etc. I ALWAYS come up with a lot of sites for Parents of Autistic Children.

I think there should be specialised support for Low-Functioning and more Autism-Aware things for High-Functioning.
I really regret turning down the offer to get a Mentor now, but I'm stuck with it.
Thoughts?

That would be excellent.

Are you sure you can't contact whoever offered you a mentor and say you'd like one now? A mentor sounds great.

Not really as I was on a 3 Month Waiting list, then found out it wasn't confidential at all.
I may go to the school nurse if things get too bad though.

Sometimes I feel as though people aren't grouping us in as much with the word "autism" as they used to. When most people hear the word "autism" they instantly think about Kanner's syndrome. Unless of course they actually know somebody with Asperger's.
