I've had a bandage on my hand because there's a broken bone for near 3 weeks now, and I'm supposed to take it off now and start moving the hand to stop it freezing up. Using the hand to hold things is still sore, but moving it slowly and touching it doesn't hurt - but it does make me feel dizzy and nauseous... I tested this, holding the hand loosely for 30 seconds - I blacked out!
Something similar happened when I broke my ribs. I couldn't tell when they were better because they made me feel so horribly nauseous when I touched them - I wasn't sure whether that counted as pain or not. The same has happened to a lesser extent for milder injuries.
My hypothesis is that most of me has been de-sensitized to touch, but not moving/touching an area for so long makes it super-sensitive again. So, if I wrapped up an uninjured body part for a couple of weeks, it would become strangely sensitive in the same way. I'm not sure when/how to experiment without seeming like an injury faker or total freak at work.. not a look I need. Perhaps I can try with a finger or something next vacation..
Has anyone else experienced anything like this?
Do you know if its a sensory thing, or a normal injury reaction, or something else?

New rule tomorrow.
I spained my wrist boarding last march. Than the other day I hit my head pretty hard on a door and my hand.
It is bruised.
I always have some sort of injury
As far as sensory issues lights have brothered me more lately- seems brighter. And I can't stand my clothes. I hate noticing my clothes 24/7.
I try and wear soft clothes.
