I have a 190 IQ but it hardly says anything about my functioning. I have auditory processing problems and a lot of other stuff holding me back.

You must be a savant of some sort...
I don't know. I am really good at quiz shows though lol. I had an obsession with Australia. My therapist made the mistake of asking me about it. I drew her a map including all the cities over 50,000, wrote all the 10 ten most populous cities in the column, notated the major points of interests (12 apostles on the great ocean road, ect) and mapped the climate zones. Adelaide and Perth are in the Mediterranean classification and so is South Africa, Chile, Mediterranean of course, and parts of the west coast of the US (California).

Wow, there are some geniuses in here, lol! My misinterpretation of litearl or implied meanings has held me back in many ways!! !! But I entered 2nd grade at age 5, knew and could explain the anatomy of the worm at 6, could eplain the latin derivations of chemical elements at age 9, inventions and scientific experiments at 10. Full blown psychology expert at age 11, entered college at age 16!
My literal way of interpreting things hurt me a lot too. There were teachers who tried to make trick question multiple choice tests and I really hated that. I like things to be clear cut without any other possibility or interpretation.
I was talking in complete sentences at a little over a year old. I said my first word and started walking really early. Because of my narrow interests I never was moved through school as fast as you. I tended to focus on my interest and school as little as possible. I wouldn't do my homework and I had hearing problems so they stuck me in special education.

It took me the first three years of school to spell "park" (one repeat in there); that's at the young age of 8.
I had a lot of trouble with spelling, grammar, and math too. I think i mentioned somewhere else that the first time I took the IQ test I didn't do as good. Every time I've taken it I've scored much higher.
