Do you think this properly describes Asperger Syndrome?

We are too uncomfortable around others, yet too lonely to want to forever out of the presence of others, therefore we stim our miswired nervous systems.

I don't stim because of that, I just do it unconsciously for comfort.

Sorry you lost me; wait, you mean Aspies? Autistics don't get lonely!

^Wow that's pretty cold Gwyn.

I know a few members here who happen to be autistic.

I'll have to say that yes I get lonely but I think I isolate myself because of some of the nervous tics that show. Some people are very good at hiding them better than others. I however get them very bad and sometimes stutter a little whenever I encounter a stranger. So yeah, some of these tics get in the way of social interactions and possible friendships.

I have an intense desire to peruse my hobbies, but at the same time I sometimes want a friend and/or girlfriend.
